Deck overview

This mono-blue deck leverages Geist of Saint Thalia to discount noncreature artifact spells and interaction, creating rapid mana velocity and board presence. The game plan focuses on deploying cheap artifacts to trigger powerful token generators like Sai, Master Thopterist and card draw engines like Vedalken Archmage and Mystic Forge. By chaining inexpensive artifacts and cantrips, the deck establishes an expansive board state by Turn 4. It pivots into a game-ending win on Turn 6 by animating its noncreature artifacts into 4/4 flying beaters using Cyberdrive Awakener or overloaded Rise and Shine, or by assembling an unbounded Thopter loop using Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Mirran Spy. Supported by an efficient suite of counterspells that frequently cost only a single blue mana thanks to the commander, the deck reliably protects its setup while disrupting opposing threats, closing the game around Turn 7.
