This Golgari deck centers around Grist, Voracious Larva as a 1-mana commander that quickly transforms into Grist, the Plague Swarm by recurring creatures like Bloodghast or Reassembling Skeleton. The primary game plan fills the graveyard using high-velocity self-mill engines such as Golgari Grave-Troll, Hermit Druid, Mesmeric Orb, and Ripples of Undeath. Once the graveyard is stocked with creatures, the deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by casting mass reanimation spells like Living Death or using Buried Alive to set up Craterhoof Behemoth and Syr Konrad, the Grim.
