Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages Optimus Prime, Hero at the helm of an aggressive artifact and +1/+1 counter engine. The primary plan establishes early artifact mana and token producers like Sai, Master Thopterist and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, then deploys Optimus Prime in vehicle form on Turn 4 using the alternative More Than Meets the Eye cost. Repeated bolster triggers grow the team, while evasion enablers such as Abzan Falconer, Herald of Secret Streams, and Cyberdrive Awakener ensure combat damage pushes through opposing blockers. The deck features strong built-in resilience: Optimus Prime automatically returns to the battlefield converted whenever it dies, allowing the board to withstand conventional creature sweepers. Asymmetric board wipes like Organic Extinction and Vandalblast clear opposing blockers and development without disturbing your own artifact infrastructure, paving the way for a decisive combat finish by Turn 8.
