Bello Zoom by CalamityMDM

Format: Commander

Commander: Bello, Bard of the Brambles

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bello, Bard of the Brambles is the engine of a Gruul deck that turns its four-plus-mana artifacts and enchantments into 4/4 Elementals with haste, indestructible, and combat-draw. The plan is to accelerate into Bello, leverage enchantress-style card draw, and attack with animated permanents. The primary kill is the two-card loop of Nature's Will and Aggravated Assault: after an animated enchantment connects, Nature's Will untaps all your lands and Aggravated Assault buys endless combat phases. Without that pair, the deck wins by overwhelming combat using damage doublers like Gratuitous Violence and Unnatural Growth, or by building a token army with Threefold Thunderhulk. There is no double-faced commander; every line starts from Bello's animation trigger.
