Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius blink and midrange combo strategy led by Niko, Light of Hope. The game plan revolves around generating Shard tokens with Niko and utilizing blink effects from cards like Soulherder, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, and Displacer Kitten to multiply resources. Niko turns Shard tokens into copies of high-impact nonlegendary creatures such as Angel of Destiny, Nesting Dovehawk, or Archon of Sun's Grace, overwhelming opponents through combat damage and alternative win conditions. The deck also features an infinite enter-the-battlefield combo using Felidar Guardian and Restoration Angel, which instantly wins the game alongside Altar of the Brood or draws the library with Dour Port-Mage into Thassa's Oracle. Supported by premier countermagic, spot removal, and Grand Abolisher, the deck maintains control while assembling resilient, multi-angled win conditions.
