Deck overview

This Bant deck combines a tap-and-untap engine with +1/+1 counter synergy, led by The Fifth Doctor and Susan Foreman. Susan Foreman guarantees a Turn 2 ramp piece in the command zone, allowing the deck to accelerate smoothly into utility creatures, Vehicles, and value engines on Turn 3. The Fifth Doctor enters on Turn 4, placing +1/+1 counters on all creatures that refrained from attacking and untapping them at end step. This creates an asymmetric advantage: creatures tap to crew Vehicles, produce mana via Cryptolith Rite, or trigger abilities like Wylie Duke, Atiin Hero and Fallowsage, then untap to defend while growing larger each turn. Drawing cards through Danny Pink and Dusk Legion Duelist rapidly refills the hand, while Intruder Alarm, Halo Fountain, and Simic Ascendancy provide explosive alternate win paths alongside evasive combat damage from Abzan Falconer.
