Commander: Maralen of the Mornsong

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black Relentless Rats tribal pile helmed by Maralen of the Mornsong, built around a single explosive payoff: tutor Thrumming Stone with Maralen's replacement draw, cast any Relentless Rats, and let ripple 4 cascade through a 53-copy monostack until the board is buried under enormous Rats. Secondary support comes from Marrow-Gnawer (fear + token pump), a handful of black rituals, and graveyard recursion (Living Death, Patriarch's Bidding, Beacon of Unrest) to rebuild after wipes. There are no infinite combos and almost no conventional card advantage or interaction in the 99; the entire deck is a linear "find Stone, ripple Rats, swing" machine that lives or dies by Maralen resolving and surviving. It is a pure glass-cannon tribal combo-combat deck whose fun factor is high and whose consistency is deliberately fragile.
