Treefolk by bladeruner3

Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, the Siege Tower

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Doran, the Siege Tower leads a Treefolk toughness-matters battlecruiser. The primary plan is to deploy the commander early, then use his static to turn high-toughness Treefolk into huge attackers. The hidden commander in the 99 is Doran, Besieged by Time, whose attack trigger pumps every attacker by its toughness gap, roughly doubling damage. Secondary paths are the Leaf-Crowned tribal engine, Yedora/Colfenor recursion, and a Last March of the Ents draw-and-dump finisher. The deck wants to spend turns 1-3 ramping, turns 4-6 establishing toughness payoffs, then alpha strike with a board full of Treefolk. Commander removal slows but does not stop the plan because Bedrock Tortoise and Ancient Lumberknot provide redundant toughness damage.
