Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Atreus, Impulsive Son and Kratos, Stoic Father to execute an experience-counter midrange strategy fueled by God tribal synergies. Atreus enters on Turn 3, followed by Kratos on Turn 4. Attacking with Gods builds experience counters, which Kratos converts into substantial +1/+1 counters on your end step. Atreus leverages these counters into repeatable card advantage and burn damage against all opponents. Proliferate engines such as Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Kilo, Apogee Mind rapidly scale the counter count. As the game transitions into the midgame, token producers like Otharri, Suns' Glory and The Locust God work alongside Purphoros, God of the Forge to create a crushing clock. A robust suite of protection spells, including Teferi's Protection and Ripples of Potential, shields the board while efficient removal and sweepers disrupt opposing strategies.
