Obeka upkeeps by Biielcaio

Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is built around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds and her unique ability to grant extra upkeep steps whenever she deals combat damage to a player. The primary game plan is to make Obeka unblockable via auras like Aether Tunnel and Aqueous Form, then leverage the extra upkeeps to accelerate suspended cards (Wheel of Fate, Inevitable Betrayal, Inspiring Refrain), trigger repeatable upkeep effects from the Court cycle, As Foretold, and Midnight Clock, and accumulate overwhelming card and mana advantage. The deck also runs a robust voltron equipment package-Buster Sword, Sword of Feast and Famine, Conqueror's Flail-to buff Obeka and protect the turn. It wins through a combination of commander damage, incremental burn from Court of Embereth and Court of Ire, and value from stolen creatures and free spells.
