Deck overview

This Dimir deck combines spellslinger payoffs with Wraith and Zombie tribal synergies under Lord of the Nazgûl. The strategy focuses on accelerating into the commander, then converting cheap instants, sorceries, and countermagic into 3/3 menace Wraith tokens. The deck features nine copies of Nazgûl, which continuously trigger Ring tempts and pump all Wraiths with +1/+1 counters. Secondary synergies leverage Zombie payoffs such as Geralf, the Fleshwright, Grave Titan, and Rooftop Storm, alongside land-based threats like Dark Depths combined with Thespian's Stage. A rich interactive suite of 1- and 2-mana counterspells protects the board while simultaneously generating token pressure. The deck wins by overrunning the table with evasive combat damage within two attack cycles once critical mass is established.
