Deck overview

This is a Gruul Werewolf tribal deck helmed by Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge, built to aggressively swarm the board with Wolves and Werewolves while using the commander's combat-damage draw engine to maintain gas. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of werewolves, transform them with Tovolar's day/night manipulation, and close out games through overwhelming combat damage boosted by anthems like Immerwolf and Instigator Gang. The deck includes two extra-combat enablers - Port Razer and Aggravated Assault - that can chain attacks in a single turn for a lethal swing. Secondary wins come from Triumph of the Hordes (infect) or massive pump from Unnatural Growth. The strategy is linear but high-tempo, relying on Tovolar to both draw cards and enable transformation.
