Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Aristocrats and Token Swarm strategy commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. Chatterfang acts as both a passive token multiplier and an active, repeatable removal engine from the command zone. The deck leverages versatile token generators that create Food, Clues, Treasures, and Squirrels, doubling each instance into additional 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens. It accelerates mana using low-cost ramp and token-mana engines like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Tireless Provisioner. Card flow is maintained through sacrifice outlets like Skullclamp and combat triggers like Toski, Bearer of Secrets. The primary win condition is an infinite loop assembled on Turn 5 using Chatterfang and Pitiless Plunderer, which generates infinite colored mana, infinite Squirrel tokens, and full creature board wipes. Alternate routes include the Scurry Oak and Ivy Lane Denizen infinite counter/token combo or wide combat overruns using Beastmaster Ascension. The deck excels at board control but is vulnerable to noncreature combos and heavy sweepers.
