Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The strategy centers on deploying Vivi early and casting a dense barrage of low-mana instants, sorceries, and cantrips. Each noncreature spell grows Vivi with +1/+1 counters while dealing direct noncombat damage to each opponent. Vivi's {0} ability converts her accumulated power into bursts of blue and red mana, creating explosive turns that fund card advantage engines like Archmage of Runes and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary. The deck controls the board and protects its commander using 13 counterspells and flexible burn removal, before finishing the table on Turn 7 with a devastating Chandra's Ignition or overwhelming prowess combat from Balmor, Battlemage Captain.
