Deck overview

This deck is a high-power combat aggro build commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Kaalia on Turn 3 using efficient low-cost acceleration, followed by attacking on Turn 4 to put devastating Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Payoffs like Master of Cruelties can eliminate an opponent instantly on Turn 4, while damage doublers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and extra-combat enablers like Aurelia, the Warleader rapidly dismantle the rest of the table by Turn 6. The deck features infinite combat lines through Helm of the Host with Aurelia or Aggravated Assault with Sword of Feast and Famine. Because Kaalia is a high-priority target, the list is heavily fortified with format-ceiling defensive spells, free commander protection, and silence effects to ensure combat connections.
