Deck overview

This Raffine, Scheming Seer deck executes a classic tempo aggro-control strategy in Esper colors. The game plan centers on deploying cheap, evasive 1-drop creatures such as Changeling Outcast, Mist-Cloaked Herald, and Invisible Stalker during the first two turns. On Turn 3, casting Raffine immediately turns every attack into a card filtering and stat-buffing engine through the connive mechanic. By Turn 4, swinging with multiple unblockable threats triggers large connive counts, rapidly growing creatures into lethal threats while sculpting a hand loaded with free and low-cost interaction. The deck protects its board with spells like Flawless Maneuver, Dawn's Truce, and Grand Abolisher, while disrupting opposing plans with an extensive suite of 0–1 mana counterspells and exile removal. The game concludes around Turn 6 through overwhelming unblockable combat damage accelerated by Akroma's Will.
