Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jeskai spellslinger deck led by Kykar, Wind's Fury. The strategy revolves around converting low-cost noncreature spells into evasive 1/1 Spirit tokens, which double as board presence and ritual mana. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks and cheap cantrips, establishing Kykar by Turn 4. From there, it layers compounding payoffs like Archmage Emeritus, Impact Tremors, and Purphoros, God of the Forge to burn the entire table while filling the skies with tokens. On Turn 6, the deck initiates a critical turn, slinging multiple spells to trigger heavy burn and amassing an overwhelming board. It closes the game on Turn 7 through wide aerial combat backed by anthem effects or an Underworld Breach storm sequence. The list protects its engine with efficient counterspells and protective charms while leveraging versatile spot removal to disrupt opposing game plans.
