Deck overview

This Abzan deck is a lands-and-graveyard aristocrats engine helmed by Thalia and The Gitrog Monster. She provides the glue: an extra land drop each turn, a tax that makes opponents' creatures and nonbasic lands enter tapped, and an attack trigger that ransoms a creature or land for a card - a perfect fit for a deck that wants its permanents to die and its lands in the graveyard. The primary win is a family of infinite death loops: a recursive creature (Gravecrawler, Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast) fed to a sacrifice outlet (Phyrexian Altar, Warren Soultrader, Pitiless Plunderer) while a drain payoff (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim) bleeds the table. A second, slower channel builds a landfall army through The Necrobloom, Field of the Dead, and Scute Swarm, with Syr Konrad, the Grim and The Meathook Massacre serving as grind backups.
