Bark at the moon by coasterkramer

Format: Commander

Commander: Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tovolar, Dire Overlord leads an aggressive Gruul Werewolf and Wolf tribal deck that leverages early board presence to generate massive card draw. The deck aims to deploy cheap Wolves and Werewolves, cast Tovolar to draw multiple cards upon dealing combat damage, and flip the pack into their stronger Nightbound sides on upkeep. Winning paths rely on overwhelming combat damage powered by Shared Animosity, Full Moon's Rise trample buffs, Tovolar's Nightbound mana-sink ability, or an explosive finish via Triumph of the Hordes. Broad token generation and burst card draw ensure relentless board pressure.
