Oloro, Ageless Ascetic (Copy) by joseph.th

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

In typical Esper control-combo fashion, this Oloro deck never needs to cast its commander: the command-zone upkeep trigger supplies constant life gain and, for {1}, a repeatable draw plus drain. The primary plan is to control the table with cheap interaction while tutoring for a Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact plus Thassa's Oracle win. Laboratory Maniac backs up the self-mill, and Exquisite Blood with Vito offers a second, independent drain combo. The commander's life cushion lets the deck use pain lands, Necropotence, and Phyrexian mana aggressively. It is a fast, interaction-heavy deck that wins through a combo rather than grinding with Oloro.
