Deck overview

Niambi, Esteemed Speaker pilots a legendary-value control deck whose hidden commander is Cid, Timeless Artificer-fifteen copies serve as cycling draw, discard fodder for Niambi, and a graveyard-count anthem for Heroes and artifact creatures. The primary plan is to churn cards, fill the graveyard with Cids, then kill with evasive, heavily pumped legendaries. Secondary plans use Urza's Ruinous Blast and What Must Be Done to leave only legends, Avacyn to make the board indestructible, and Azor plus extra turns to lock tempo. Niambi contributes flash-timing protection, ETB bounce/lifegain, and repeatable card advantage, while the deck remains a slow, grinding engine rather than a combo deck.
