Deck overview

This Orzhov list is a stax/reanimator value engine helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The commander rewards attacking alone with double strike and recurs permanents with mana value 3 or less on combat damage, creating a slow but persistent grind. The deck's primary plan is to deploy taxing effects (Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence, Drannith Magistrate), disrupt opponents with Opposition Agent and Dauthi Voidwalker, and assemble an infinite death loop using Leonin Relic-Warder combined with Animate Dead or Necromancy. Win conditions include draining the table through The Meathook Massacre, Susurian Voidborn, or Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER's transformation. The deck is densely interactive and resilient, but its reliance on the graveyard and lack of fast combo finishes place it in the midrange/control camp.
