Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Selesnya lifegain midrange build commanded by Aerith, Last Ancient. The strategy revolves around deploying cheap, recurring lifegain enablers such as Soul Warden, Essence Warden, and Guide of Souls to fuel powerful synergy engines and trigger Aerith's end-step Raise ability. By consistently gaining life, Aerith recurs valuable creatures from the graveyard directly to hand or onto the battlefield when crossing the seven-life threshold. The deck scales into the mid-game with potent value engines like The Great Henge and Guardian Project, while building toward game-ending threats. Its primary finish is the infinite combo of Archangel of Thune and Spike Feeder, creating infinite life and infinite +1/+1 counters to overwhelm opponents in combat. Alternate win conditions like Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, and Aetherflux Reservoir ensure inevitable victories, backed by proactive silence effects from Dragonlord Dromoka and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar to protect crucial turns.
