Deck overview

This is a Dimir Pirate/Treasure tempo deck helmed by the partner duo Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Francisco, Fowl Marauder. The core game plan involves deploying evasive Pirate creatures, connecting with combat damage to generate Treasure tokens (Malcolm) and card velocity (Francisco's explore triggers), then leveraging that resource base into powerful payoffs. The deck draws heavily through combat triggers like Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Reconnaissance Mission, and can accumulate a board of artifacts quickly. Primary wins include reaching ten Treasures for Revel in Riches, enchanting a Treasure token with Mechanized Production to create an army of copies leading to a win condition, using Time Sieve plus five artifacts for extra turns, or deploying the Urza, Lord High Artificer / Freed from the Real infinite mana combo to fire off Exsanguinate or dig through the deck. A subtle backup drain package using Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, and Agent of the Iron Throne also threatens the table over time.
