Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact swarm strategy helmed by Sai, Master Thopterist. It focuses on casting cheap artifacts and mana rocks to trigger Sai, building an army of 1/1 flying Thopter tokens while filtering through the library with Sai's sacrifice ability and artifact-based draw engines like Vedalken Archmage and Thoughtcast. The deck accelerates quickly with dense low-cost ramp and cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor. Once a wide token board is established, the deck pivots into an offensive threat using anthem effects such as Obelisk of Urd, Gravitational Shift, and Master of Etherium, or by animating all noncreature artifacts into 4/4 flyers with Cyberdrive Awakener. A strong suite of 10 cheap counterspells and targeted exile spells defends the board against sweepers and disrupts opposing game plans while the flying swarm closes the game over 2-3 combat steps.
