Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu graveyard reanimation deck centered on Kroxa and Kunoros. The game plan focuses on spending the early turns filling the graveyard using efficient discard outlets, rummage sorceries, and dredge cards like Stinkweed Imp and Faithless Looting. Once the graveyard is stocked with high-impact threats and at least five fodder cards, the deck deploys its commander or secondary reanimators such as Priest of Fell Rites and Unburial Rites. The primary reanimation targets—including Archon of Cruelty, Ashen Rider, Ancient Brass Dragon, and Etali, Primal Storm—generate overwhelming card advantage, board control, and combat pressure. Backed by solid spot removal and sweepers like Ruinous Ultimatum, the deck snowballs value through repeated attack triggers, closing the game with massive evasive attacks across turns 6 and 7.
