Deck overview

This five-color deck is built entirely around The Prismatic Bridge face of Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge. The primary plan is to accelerate into the Bridge, then use its upkeep trigger to cheat one huge creature into play each turn. The secondary path is a stax/land-destruction prison package-Winter Orb, Static Orb, Blood Moon, Armageddon-that keeps opponents from developing while the Bridge's monsters grind out the game. Esika's creature face is only a fallback mana dork; there is no hidden commander. The main finish is combat damage from Avacyn, Ulamog, Void Winnower, or Blightsteel Colossus, with the Blightsteel + Chandra's Ignition line as an instant one-turn kill.
