Deck overview

This deck is an Esper tempo aggro strategy centered on the shadow mechanic and combat card advantage. Led by Lyna, Veil of Vengeance, the deck deploys cheap, unblockable shadow creatures in the early turns to guarantee consistent combat connections. Once Lyna enters on turn 3, each unblockable hit draws a card, filling your hand with interaction, protection, and ramp. In the midgame, this massive card flow digs into decisive life-loss multipliers and game-ending pump spells like Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Archfiend of Despair, Hatred, and Akroma's Will. Free defensive spells like Fierce Guardianship and Flawless Maneuver protect the board while allowing you to tap out each turn. The deck finishes by eliminating opponents sequentially in unblockable combat waves across turns 6 through 8.
