Sheoldred Competitive by user9546962

Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Monoblack Sheoldred, the Apocalypse is a draw-punishing combo-control deck. The primary plan is to resolve Sheoldred early, then use Necrodominance/Necropotence/Ad Nauseam to convert life into cards while Sheoldred converts draws into life. It finishes with Aetherflux Reservoir or an infinite life-loss loop using any 'whenever you gain life' piece with Exquisite Blood/Bloodthirsty Conqueror, usually triggered by a self-draw. Secondary lines kill via Peer into the Abyss plus Orcish Bowmasters and Bloodletter, or Bolas's Citadel plus Sensei's Divining Top into Aetherflux. Sheoldred is the engine and speed anchor rather than a strict requirement; there is no hidden commander.
