Deck overview

This Abzan deck utilizes Doran, the Siege Tower to turn high-toughness Treefolk into efficient combat threats. Casting Doran on turn 3 allows subsequent low-mana, high-toughness creatures like Indomitable Ancients and Dauntless Dourbark to apply immediate pressure. The deck scales into the mid-game with heavy ramp and card advantage from The One Ring, Six, and Last March of the Ents. Critical onset occurs around turn 6, where resolved overruns such as Overwhelming Stampede, Triumph of the Hordes, or Finale of Devastation deal lethal trample damage across the table. While highly resilient against damage-based sweepers due to high natural toughness and cards like Timber Protector and Heroic Intervention, the deck has minimal instant-speed targeted removal and depends heavily on Doran to convert toughness into offensive power.
