Deck overview

This Esper deck pairs Hashaton, Scarab's Fist with high-impact reanimation targets, efficient discard enablers, and a compact Thassa's Oracle finish. Hashaton sits in the command zone as a repeatable cost-cheating engine. When you discard an expensive creature like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur or Archon of Cruelty, paying three mana creates a 4/4 copy that immediately exerts massive pressure. Free discard outlets such as Putrid Imp and efficient looting spells like Careful Study fuel this engine as early as turn four. Once an overwhelming threat enters play, the deck dismantles opposing resources by emptying hands and clearing boards. It protects its board with an elite suite of free countermagic, including Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship, alongside proactive shields like Silence. While traditional reanimation spells provide independent redundancy if Hashaton is removed, the deck reliably closes the game on turn five by assembling Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation to secure victory across all three opponents simultaneously.
