Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal and graveyard reanimation strategy helmed by Gisa and Geralf. The primary game plan revolves around stocking the graveyard through self-mill effects, establishing a resilient board of synergistic Zombie creatures, and using the commander's once-per-turn cast trigger to generate continuous card and board advantage. The deck leverages tribal lords such as Lord of the Accursed, Cemetery Reaper, and Diregraf Captain to turn swarms of 2/2 tokens into formidable attackers while punishing opponents with life loss whenever creatures die. Heavy top-end spells like Army of the Damned, Zombie Apocalypse, and Necrotic Hex create decisive swings that overwhelm the table in the mid-to-late game. While the deck boasts strong natural redundancy and grind potential, it lacks fast mana and dedicated tutors, making it dependent on natural draws and self-mill to find its key win conditions and protection pieces.
