Deck overview

Omnath, Locus of Rage rewards the deck for making land drops by creating 5/5 Elementals and dealing three damage when Elementals die. The list supports that plan with many basic lands, land-search spells, extra-land effects, and redundant landfall token engines such as Rampaging Baloths, Zendikar's Roil, Avenger of Zendikar, and Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer. Its normal game is a gradual board-building strategy rather than a compact combo deck. The main weaknesses are the seven-mana commander, numerous tapped lands, limited card selection, and a small interaction package. A surviving board can become lethal with Craterhoof Behemoth, Garruk, Curse Breaker, or repeated landfall triggers, but access to those finishers is inconsistent. Expect assembly around turn 7, a decisive board around turn 9, and a full-table combat finish around turn 11 when opponents do not disrupt the engine.
