Winning a Pulitzer At 50 by GulliasTurtle

Format: Commander

Commander: The Muckslinger Gang

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Muckslinger Gang leads a Jund power-matters deck. Its +3/+3 bonus to non-attacking creatures and to creature cards in all non-battlefield zones turns dorks into mana engines and 5/5s into 8/8 fling fodder. The primary plan is to ramp into high-power threats, draw cards off power-based enchantments, and convert those threats into burst damage with Bloodshot Cyclops, Jarad, Ziatora, or Kazuul's Fury. Secondary paths are combat with Ghalta or a Rootwire Amalgam token and graveyard scavenge/recursion via Varolz, Young Deathclaws, Alesha, and Colfenor's Urn. There is no hidden commander; the deck simply wants the biggest possible number under the commander's boost.
