Commander: Gandalf of the Secret Fire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai spellslinger deck is helmed by Gandalf of the Secret Fire, leveraging his ability to exile instants and sorceries cast on opponents' turns with suspend, then play them for free later. The primary game plan is to generate incremental value through prowess creatures, token makers (Third Path Iconoclast, Tura Kennerud, Skyknight), and repeatable draw engines like Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart and Rammas Echor, Ancient Shield. Wins come from combat damage with an ever-growing board of pumped creatures and soldier tokens, supplemented by the occasional extra turn from Alchemist's Gambit. The deck lacks infinite combos and relies on sustained pressure and card advantage to outlast opponents.
