Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Angel tribal aggro deck commanded by Aurelia, the Warleader. Its strategy centers on deploying resilient, evasive Angels in the early-to-mid game and accelerating into Aurelia or secondary extra-combat engines to overwhelm opponents through multiple combat phases per turn. Key tribal anchors like Giada, Font of Hope, Righteous Valkyrie, and Lyra Dawnbringer build significant board presence and life totals, making combat exchanges highly favorable. The deck leverages damage doublers and keyword enablers like Blade Historian and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to turn extra combats into rapid table eliminations. While it features strong board protection against traditional destruction wraths via Boros Charm and Unbreakable Formation, its high average mana curve and reliance on combat-driven card advantage leave it vulnerable to exile sweepers and early aggressive disruption.
