Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel | Life Insurance Fraud by dunamismax

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Niv-Mizzet, Ghost Counsel as a card advantage engine and combo piece. The primary game plan converts life gain into massive card draw using the commander's triggered ability. This allows you to dig through your library rapidly, assemble life drain engines, and build large mana reserves. The main path to victory is combining Niv-Mizzet with Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to create a near-infinite draw loop that immediately drains the entire table. Secondary paths include burst drain via Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, Bolas's Citadel, and casting Approach of the Second Sun twice in rapid succession.
