Ozai, the Phoenix King by Ruffues

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King commands a high-velocity Rakdos big mana strategy focused on explosive combat steps and lethal burn finishers. Ozai provides immediate board pressure with haste, trample, and firebending mana generation while passively preserving unspent mana across phases. The deck converts banked mana and combat triggers into overwhelming resource advantages through extra attack steps and massive X-cost spells. While aggressive commander damage and extra combat chains from Aggravated Assault or Hellkite Charger provide rapid knockouts, the primary closing lines rely on scaling massive fire storms via Crackle with Power, Exsanguinate, or Banefire to vaporize all opponents simultaneously.
