Deck overview

This deck is a non-green (WUBR) Polymorph control deck spearheaded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary gameplan revolves around using cheap token producers such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Lingering Souls to create expendable bodies on early turns. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Jace and immediately fires his minus-three loyalty ability to exile a token and cheat a devastating bomb onto the battlefield from the library, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Darksteel Angel. Dense two-mana artifact ramp ensures reliable mana fixing across four colors, while Jace's passive ability taxes opposing attacks directed at him. Although the deck lacks instant-speed counterspells and tutors, it compensates with redundant token generators, sweepers like Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight, and robust protection via Flawless Maneuver. It closes games through overwhelming evasive combat damage and life-drain attrition over multiple combat steps.
