Deck overview

This Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow deck is a Dimir tempo and Ninja tribal strategy centered around combat damage triggers and high-damage library reveals. The primary game plan relies on deploying cheap evasive creatures to activate Yuriko's commander ninjutsu on Turn 3, bypassing commander tax and standard countermagic. Once established, the deck leverages topdeck manipulation tools such as Scroll Rack, Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Lim-Dûl's Vault to ensure Yuriko reveals high-mana-value payloads like Silent-Blade Oni, Masterful Replication, and Dokuchi Shadow-Walker, burning all three opponents simultaneously while generating continuous card advantage. The list supplements traditional Ninja synergy with an artifact cloning package featuring Donatello, Gadget Master, Echo Storm, and Copy Artifact, alongside disruptive combat payoffs like Fallen Shinobi and Okiba-Gang Shinobi. While vulnerable to heavy creature removal and token blockers, the commander's tax-immune ninjutsu ensures rapid rebuilding and consistent pressure.
