Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Voltron and permanent-duplication strategy helmed by Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana acceleration, assembling high-impact Equipment and Auras such as Colossus Hammer, All That Glitters, and Sheltered by Ghosts, and casting Arna to duplicate every attached nontoken permanent upon attacking. Through cost-cheating enablers like Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Forge Anew, high equip costs are bypassed to present immediate 20+ power flying, lifelink lethal attacks. The deck uses efficient interaction and counterspells to disrupt opposing game plans while leveraging equipment-based card draw engines to maintain card velocity. Protection cards like Conqueror's Flail and Swiftfoot Boots safeguard the commander during combat phases. If Arna is disrupted, redundant threats like Winter Soldier, Icy Assassin and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary can carry the Voltron package to finish the game across subsequent combat turns.
