Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai control deck that aims to create a complete combat lockout using Pramikon, Sky Rampart and a copy effect. By choosing opposite directions with Pramikon and cards like Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, or Mystic Barrier, no player can legally declare an attack. Once attacks are completely disabled, the deck exploits forced-combat cards like Siren's Call and Angel's Trumpet to destroy opposing creatures or deal direct damage to their controllers. Win conditions rely on noncombat attrition from Chandra, Awakened Inferno, Kratos, God of War, and burn spells amplified by Fiery Emancipation. While the defensive lock is potent against creature strategies, the deck runs no tutors, meaning it relies on natural draws to find its clone pieces. Furthermore, its win clock is slow and requires multiple turns to close out games.
