Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov midrange strategy that uses Breena, the Demagogue to manipulate table politics, encourage opponents to attack each other, and draw cards while growing Breena into a substantial evasive threat. The deck features efficient stax elements such as Opposition Agent, Aven Mindcensor, and Esper Sentinel to hinder opposing plans, combined with defensive deterrents like Nils, Discipline Enforcer, Orzhov Advokist, and Inkshield to stay safe. While Breena can threaten lethal commander damage alongside Duelist's Heritage and Noble Heritage, the deck's primary closing plan is a compact two-card infinite combo between Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Tutors such as Enlightened Tutor, Demonic Tutor, and Ranger-Captain of Eos assemble the combination by Turn 6, while Grand Abolisher and Silence protect the turn of execution.
