Deck overview

Cloud, Planet's Champion commands a Boros Voltron aggro deck designed to equip the commander and deliver massive double-strike combat damage. With built-in indestructible during your turn and a generous {2} equip cost discount, Cloud turns modest armaments like Tormentor's Helm and Swiftfoot Boots or heavy hitters like Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor into immediate threats. The deck supports this game plan through secondary beaters like Vincent, Vengeful Atoner, defensive protection from Bofur, Reliable Guardian // Concerted Care, and asymmetric board disruption via Promise of Loyalty and Taunt from the Rampart. While the deck reliably deploys Cloud on Turn 5 to present high single-target pressure by Turn 6, its reliance on sequential combat damage means it requires multiple table rotations to close out the game against three opponents. Lacking dedicated Equipment tutors and stack interaction, the strategy depends on steady mana progression, selective combat strikes, and careful timing on protection spells to navigate opposing removal.
