Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Simic deck is a high-powered "Big Mana" and "Cheat into Play" strategy helmed by the partner pair Kodama of the East Tree and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. The core plan is to ramp aggressively, cast massive spells (6+ mana) to trigger cascade via Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty and draw cards via Thunderous Snapper, then use Kodama's trigger to dump additional permanents from hand onto the battlefield. Sakashima copies Kodama, doubling the trigger engine and allowing the deck to chain out its entire hand in a single turn. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage through Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or Akroma's Memorial, backed by massive landfall engines like Avenger of Zendikar and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The deck forgoes infinite combos in favor of explosive, value-dense board states that overwhelm opponents through sheer card advantage and mana acceleration.
