Jon Irenicus, Shattered one by user7064761

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Jon Irenicus, Shattered One runs a bad-gift strategy: donate drawback creatures to opponents, where they become goaded, unsacrificable, and attack everyone except you; every such attack draws a card. The commander is both the donation engine and the draw engine. Secondary paths are the Archfiend of the Dross oil-counter kill, half-life triggers from Ebonblade Reaper and Unstoppable Slasher, and stax pieces like Steel Golem. Taskmaster, Mercenary Mimic is the hidden commander: copying Jon doubles the donation and draw triggers. Gisa, Glorious Resurrector, Endless Whispers, and countermagic provide recursion and protection.
