Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Orvar, the All-Form to duplicate lands, utility permanents, and combo pieces whenever targeted by cheap instants or sorceries. Because Orvar has changeling, the list integrates diverse tribal payoffs, including Wizard permission via Patron Wizard, Merfolk islandwalk lords, and creature regeneration from Swarmyard. The primary route to victory generates infinite mana using Orvar, Peregrine Drake, and a buyback targeting spell such as Whim of Volrath or Clockspinning. That mana fuels infinite enters-the-battlefield triggers on Venser, Shaper Savant or Galecaster Colossus to bounce every opposing permanent back to hand. Supported backup lines use Ghostly Flicker with Archaeomancer to execute the same infinite loop without the commander. Strong protection pieces, such as Lord of the Unreal and Mizzium Skin, shield the setup against removal.
