Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking helms a Sultai elf deck that weaponizes the graveyard. The main plan is to mill elves, then use Thranduil to copy their activated abilities for mana, utility, and card filtering, while legendary elves generate draw triggers. Secondary paths include a wide elfball combat plan with Ezuri and Tyvar, and a Jarad sacrifice finisher that drains all opponents. A compact infinite-mana combo uses Buried Alive to drop Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate into the bin, making Thranduil go infinite; Tyvar then converts that into a lethal pump. Lathril acts as a hidden commander, producing tokens and an alternate drain. Reanimation effects like Bloodline Bidding and Squirming Emergence ensure the board can return after wipes.
