Deck overview

This deck is a Spellslinger Storm and Burn combo list led by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both an engine and an outlet: every noncreature spell gives Vivi a +1/+1 counter and deals 1 damage to each opponent, while its {0} ability generates mana equal to its power once each turn. The game plan focuses on casting Vivi on Turn 3, deploying cheap cantrips and cost-reducers on Turn 4, and converting that momentum into a game-ending Turn 5. The primary finish leverages massive mana from Vivi or Mana Geyser to cast a lethal Crackle with Power, or assembles the two-card infinite combo of Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and Curiosity. In addition, attaching Curiosity directly to Vivi draws three cards per noncreature spell, quickly storming through the deck. A dense package of low-cost counterspells and bounce removal protects key turns and disrupts opposing threats, creating an explosive and resilient spellslinger strategy.
