Deck overview

This deck is a five-color spellslinger deck that circumvents traditional spell restrictions by utilizing creatures with the Prepare mechanic. Led by Codie, Ravenous Codex, the deck doubles every prepared spell cast from its utility creatures, generating enormous card advantage and mana velocity without relying on traditional instant and sorcery cards in the 99. The primary victory condition is an infinite mana and spell loop combining Displacer Kitten and Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song, which produces infinite red mana and repeatedly blinks prepared creatures to tutor and cast Emeritus of Conflict // Lightning Bolt or Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate for an immediate same-turn kill on Turn 5. Backup lines utilize Thousand-Year Storm, Vega, the Watcher, and Codie's full-board preparation ability to overwhelm opponents with doubled draw spells and token generation. The deck excels at resource velocity and burst card draw, though it lacks stack-based countermagic and relies heavily on creature-based setup.
